This coconut fiber pergola cover is made in our workshop. Coco fabric has an airy mesh, allowing air and water to pass through. Its natural, decorative look will dress up your pergola structure as a shade sail for your terrace or garden. Once the fabric has been attached to the ropes at regular intervals (see diagram below), you'll obtain subdued shade.
Our pergola sail with support rope is particularly suitable for structures where the beams / crossbeams are spaced over 1m apart.
It's ideal for natural environments and seashores, provided the climate isn't too humid. It adds a touch of rustic chic to urban settings. Coir pergola shade sail works well with wooden or wrought-iron pergola structures.
The natural-fiber pergola fabric filters out some UV rays.
If you're looking for maximum sun protection, turn to shade sails in Australe, Polyester and Acryl for optimum UV protection.
- The pergola fabric is manufactured in our workshop.
- The coir fiber has excellent wind resistance thanks to its airy mesh.
- The fabric is reinforced with grid cords at regular intervals for better support and greater durability. An attachment rope is provided at each interval.
- Material: 100% natural coir fiber, a rot-proof, bio-sourced and 100% biodegradable material. The color of the stretched canvas pergola develops a patina and darkens over time.
- Weight: 900g/m2
- Warranty: 2 years
- Coir pergola sail will be heavier when wet. Its weight will double.
- Tie it down tightly with the ropes provided. The support ropes must be placed under the shade sail to hold it in place. You'll need to place your canvas on top of the structure and fasten each rope to your frame.
- Practical tip: to prolong the life of your cover, remove the pergola shade sail in the off-season and allow it to dry thoroughly before storing it away from rodents for the winter.
