A shade sail attachment, short version

This shade sail fastener is designed for concrete or wooden walls, depending on the option chosen. It allows you to attach one of the corners of your shade sail to the wall of your house.

Description

This bracket allows you to fix a corner of your shade sail to a wall. Made of 316 stainless steel, it guarantees strength and durability. It leaves a gap of 25 to 35 cm between the fixing point and the shade sail. The stainless steel turnbuckle is only recommended in the case of a roller sail installation (on the corner of the roller).

Installation of the shade sail fastener

For the concrete version:
- Drilling diameter: 14mm
- Drilling depth: 80mm

Anchors for solid or hollow materials:
We have selected the PRIMA plug from SPITZ, a world leader in the fastening industry. This plug is suitable for solid and hollow walls.
The expansion technique is well proven and provides full satisfaction in its use. We recommend to follow the different installation steps of this anchor (see sketch).

Before inserting the anchor into the hole, it is important to make sure that the anchor can be fully inserted into a hole the size of the anchor.

The hole should not be too large, otherwise the plug will not expand in the substrate, as it will turn on itself in the hole.
