Manufactured in our workshop, this coir fabric is designed to enhance your pergola while providing light shade. Its airy weave encourages the circulation of air and water, creating a pleasant, refreshing space. Ideal for a terrace or garden, it adds a natural, decorative touch to your structure. Once installed, using the supplied cords to be positioned at regular intervals (see diagram below), it provides soft, subdued shade.
This fabric is ideal if you have a pergola with crossbeams at least every 60/70cm. If your structure doesn't have cross-members, choose coco shade cloth with pergola reinforcements.
Perfect for natural environments and coastal areas with moderate climates, this coconut shade also blends elegantly into an urban setting, adding a rustic, trendy touch. It goes equally well with a wooden or wrought-iron pergola.
Although partially UV-filtering, we recommend our shade sails in technical textiles (Australe, Polyester or Acryl), if you're looking for optimum sun/UV protection.
The size you choose must be equal to or slightly larger than the size of your pergola, so that you can place the canvas on the pergola and benefit from its support. The canvas is attached to the pergola using the ropes supplied with your order.
